I can remember a time where I was hostile towards the thought of social media and its influence over people. While social media has disrupted our culture and the way we communicate, it has also opened us up to many facets of the world we wouldn’t have otherwise seen.
As a woman, blogger and aspiring entrepreneur, I am thankful for the opportunities that social media brings. In the world of fashion, I now have the ability to be connected with brands on a large or small scale. I recently did a collaboration with Mission Lane, an online boutique who is not just about fashionable and stylish clothing. More than this, Mission Lane is a brand that celebrates the many ways we all can give back to support those in need.
This is Mission Lane’s Champagne Toast dress. This dress is affordably priced and features a crinkled, yet soft poly material that drapes beautifully over your figure. As is the case with most petites, I am typically concerned with length and proportion. To my pleasant surprise the size small fit perfectly as a midi dress (as a reminder, I am 5’ 1.5” ). I just love how the flutter sleeves gives it a very subtle touch of elegance. Besides this, and as I’m sure you guys already know, I love the cold shoulder look and keyhole details. I’ve paired the dress with heels and highly recommend nude colored. This way, the focus of this outfit can remain on the great details of the dress.
This midi was a great find for me and I’m truly grateful to have had the opportunity to be introduced to this wonderful brand.
