Sweater weather has finally made its way to Southern California and I can finally wear some of my new sweaters along with some beloved old ones. Since moving from Michigan to California and leaving the frigid weather behind, I do miss having seasons. I know there’s not going to be much sympathy for me from my cold weather friends who I’m sure are thinking, stop complaining!!! Haha. There’s no debating that dealing with SoCal temps is nothing compared to having to deal with snow, and if I find myself missing the season’s too much, I can always go back and visit.
In this post, the jeans and cold shoulder sweater I am wearing are from Fashion Nova. I typically shy away from fast-fashion clothing stores, but every now and again it’s nice to get some items at very reasonable prices. However, I find that their sizing is inconsistent so going into the store to try things on is a must as opposed to guessing your size online (especially since items can only be returned for store credit). That said, for what it’s worth, my sweater is a small and the jeans are a size 1. You should also know the jeans are not petite-friendly but it is a simple fix to have them hemmed or roll them up – either inward or outward folds will do the trick.
