It has been quite the end to a beautiful summer. My older brother Matthew and his wife Kari are now officially married! During the Labor Day weekend, I attended their wedding in the city of Garner, which is near Raleigh, North Carolina. Kari looked absolutely stunning for her special day! Nestled away in this small town, was a breathtaking building called The Hall and Gardens at Landmark. It was a pleasant surprise to see such beautiful architecture in a heavily rural area.

The weather in North Carolina, however, was not so beautiful. On the day of the wedding a tornado touched ground a mile from the venue and the entire party had to take cover on the first level (a bit scary but made for an interesting story). Despite the weather, it was great to spend time with family that I hadn’t seen in a long time.
I wore this red scallop dress and nude block heels for the rehearsal dinner. I’m immediately drawn to anything with a scallop neckline and with this dress, the material is super stretchy, making it easy to put on. There is no zipper or clasp, making it incredibly comfortable to wear. I love how vibrant and classy this dress is; every woman should own a bold red dress!
