Can’t get enough of florals and maxi’s? Well, neither can I! I feel like everything I’ve been buying lately has a floral print on it but they’re perfect for the long California summers.
This skirt is quickly becoming one of my favorites and I’m getting a lot of wear out of it as I have found that there’s a lot of looks you can pull off. The other day I wore it with with a bodysuit. A day later while I was out for dinner, I saw someone wearing the same skirt with a crop top and it looked just as cute. While I’m just not one to wear many tops with my midriff showing, it does go to show you how versatile it is.
This maxi is a wrap skirt and is made of a nice, thin, light-weight material which is a must for summer wear. While I love this skirt, there’s a few things you should be aware of. First off, the slit goes well up my leg (a bit too high for my liking) so you may need to add a button or clasp to keep it closed. The skirt is from Bebe and it’s not proportioned for petites so even in size 0 with heels, the skirt is long and it just brushes the ground. Finally, I’ve mentioned how versatile I think this is and I plan on wearing it as a cover-up to the beach and pool; if this is something that you had in mind, then you may be able to avoid the time and trouble of dealing with the alterations.
I hope your week is off to a great start. Even though I don’t have classes anymore, I am as busy as ever. I’ve reactivated my membership at The Bar Method and start most days with an early workout. I have shared in a previous post that my job search is in full-swing. Last week I focused on networking and working on projects related to my career plan – more than ever, I am focused on finding the right job, not just any job.
I hope the coming week is productive for you and you’re having a great summer.
